Dougg Custer

About Dougg

I was born in an Air Force hospital and have been flying around this spectacular planet ever since. I’ve been to all 50 states and there are 77 different country stamps in my passport, and I’m still hoping to pick up a few more. All my life I have lived from my voice; teaching, preaching, consulting, mentoring. I love articulating ideas and issues, solving problems and encouraging people.
As a natural storyteller, for years friends have said that I should look into becoming a voice over actor. So, when that opportunity truly presented itself, I jumped at it, and found that just like meeting my beautiful wife, it was love at first sight! In voice over acting, I have found a new avenue for using this gift God gave me.
With every team I’ve ever been on or every organization I have been a part of, I have risen to the highest levels of leadership, and a huge reason for that has been my speaking skills. Now, I get to use this smooth mid-western voice along with an extroverted personality to make my clients projects come to life.
Sometimes folks say they are impressed by the fact I was on a National Championship College Football Team, or that I earned a doctoral degree, or that I explain difficult concepts easily; however the compliment that thrills me most, is – ‘Dougg, you truly love people and want to see them succeed tremendously.’

Our three delightful adult children are our most cherished examples of that. I am deeply indebted to many incredible people who have impacted me significantly, but none of them as much as my wonderful wife, LeAnn. Her high and uncompromising standards are what I also strive toward.

“Custer Audibles, LLC” is a not so subtle reference to my quarterback days and the name of our voiceover business, and just like a great signal caller on the field, I will skillfully help every client to that goal they want to reach. I still enjoy football but also the great game of golf! When you want to hear an unbelievable story, ask me sometime about playing The Old Course at St. Andrews.
